Journey Into Motherhood: Conscious Conversations for Women in Transition
Journey into Motherhood is a space for new mothers to explore the terrain of motherhood from the perspective of transition. Becoming a mother is a rite of passage, and with it comes many changes in women’s bodies, in their relationships, in their roles, and in their sense of self. Although these deep changes can be incredibly joyful and transformative, they can also leave a woman feeling disoriented, disconnected and mourning the loss of the woman who once was.
Over the course of this five-week series and in a supportive community of women, participants will have the opportunity to connect with other mothers, share stories, and work through some of the changes associated with this new stage in their lives.
Through a combination of guided discussion, practical exercises, and purposeful ritual, women will work through some of the feelings associated with both the joys and losses of this time in their lives, learn new practices for healing and self-care, and discover their new emerging identity as Mother.
For women in the first year of motherhood. Babies under one also welcome. Contact me for details about the next series.

Leigh's Experience
"I had the immense pleasure of being a part of the Journey to Motherhood circles hosted by Kristen Roderick and Jennifer Elliott. I can't recommend these sacred, kind and helpful circles enough. In the throes of new motherhood I often felt overwhelmed and isolated compounded by lack of sleep. Kristen and Jennifer offered such a kind and supportive space for moms to share their joys and difficulties at a time of great transition. It was so great to know that other amazing moms were going through the same emotions I was. Kristen and Jennifer offered a space to simply be and even offered to hold the babies :) I would happily and swiftly join again."
